Way to pause the execution of an order from NinjaScript

    Hello,

I am using NT8 for Interactive Brokers and am looking for a way to pause the execution of an order.

This is possible in Trader Workstation (right click on an order and select "Pause Execution" in the contextual menu).

Is there a way to do this from NinjaScript code?

    Thank you,

    Libor

    Hello,

    Thank you for the post.

I don't believe there would be any way to trigger this specifically from NinjaScript to Pause an order in TWS as that is a feature of their platform. You could do a similar action, per their help it appears that the order is Cancelled and then just remains in the UI for you to resubmit. If you are using a Strategy, you could store the orders information to a List and then later retrieve that information if you wanted to resubmit a new order.

I look forward to being of further assistance.
