AddOnFramework throws XmlParseException

I d/l the AddOnFrameWork solution from the help then run it and the click on the AddOnFramework menu but I got an exception with mesage

Exception thrown: 'System.Windows.Markup.XamlParseException' in PresentationFramework.dll

Additional information: 'Set connectionId threw an exception.' Line number '7' and line position '3'.

Thanks for opening the thread.

I re-imported this add-on on my end and did not have issues opening the Add-On window.

Can I confirm, did you download the AddOn_Framework_NinjaScript_Basic.zip file found here? https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...t_overview.htm

Can I also confirm that you are still unable to open the add-on even after closing NinjaTrader and opening it once again?

yeah i restarted NinjaTrader and also tried with no debugger attached, however I am using this solution

After further testing on my end, I have been able to reproduce the same error you are encountering.

It appears the Visual Studio project contains an older version of the AddOn Framework example that creates an error on load.

You can replace the XAML file and replace the .cs file with the code from the AddOn_Framework_NinjaScript_Basic.zip file to get the Visual Studio project working.

I've submitted a request to have the Visual Studio project updated.
