Hi

Not sure where to put this and I appreciate it may seem a strange question.

Is there any way a strategy can be run against data without being attached to a chart.

By this I mean is there any way to access the data series directly in code and have it produce results say in the output window.

I suppose I am wondering if there is another level of API that can work independantly of the charts.

Thanks for your post.

Yes, you can initiate/run the strategy directly from the strategies tab of the control center.

Not sure what you mean by results but you can certainly add print statements in the code to send info to the output window.
