    Keep Drawing Tool Anchors Visible

When coding a custom drawing tool, is there a way to specify that the anchors will be visible even when the tool is not selected.

I am working on a indicator that uses the anchor values from a user drawn tool. I don't really want to have the drawing tool display anything other than the anchors so the user can still select and move the anchor locations.

If this is not possible, then I do have a work around and can draw a dot or something similar where the anchors are. The drawback to this workaround is it requires an extra mouse click to relocate the anchors.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello gregschr,

Theoretically the Anchor's .IsEditing property could be set / kept to true in the OnMouseDown method.

This may cause unexpected behavior as this is not the intended behavior for a drawing object.

      Thanks ChelseaB,

Your suggestion made me realize even if the anchors were still visible, an extra click would be required anyway, to change the DrawingState from Normal to Editing.

I think I will stay with multiple clicks, rather than keep the tool in editing mode.
