BarsRequest - Local Data Only

Hi,

Using

NinjaTrader.Data.BarsRequest(instrument, DateTime.Now.AddDays(10), DateTime.Now);

is it possible to force it to use local data only so doesn't request new data from any connected data provider?

If no is there any other way to do so? Similar to using the historical data windows but through code?

Thank you for your post.

The only means to do so is to disable NinjaTrader from gathering data from the server.

In NinjaTrader 7:
Go to Tools > Options > Data > Historical chart data > disable the option 'Get data from server' > OK.
In NinjaTrader 8:
Go to Tools > Options > Market Data > Historical > disable the option 'Get data from server' > OK.
