OnRender suspends when changing tabs (I think)

I'm trying to write an indicator to display market depth on the chart. No SharpDX objects were rendered on the chart while I changed tabs in the chart window. I am using SharpDX for Drawing. What is the workaround? I want all drawing objects to be rendered even when I change tabs or when I am inactive.

Hello jkm63,

OnRender is only called while the tab is active and can be rendered to, once the tab is in the background OnRender is not necessary any longer. If you need an indicator to keep processing something in the background it would need to go in OnBarUpdate and you would have to use IsSuspendedWhileInactive false.
