How to implement tick replay in a custom add-on?

Please, can anyone suggest how to implement tick replay in a custom add-on?

I'm comfortable with using the BarsRequest object to request historical and real-time data, but it does not appear to support tick replay.

Any suggestions on how to implement tick replay are welcome.

Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately AddOn scripts cannot use TickReplay. Tick Replay is only compatible with strategy and indicator scripts.

Sorry, I did not make myself clear: Yes, I know NinjaTrader's implementation of TickReplay is only available with strategy and indicator scripts.

I'm writing my own custom add-on and wish to implement the equivalent functionality. I know I can't use NT's TickReplay implementation in a custom add-on. I'm asking NT support or the wider NT user community on advice on how to implement the same functionality it in a custom add-on.
