Manual adjusting of TP/SL BEFORE entry?

I mean seriously, it has been a very heavily requested addon for 5 years but still, there must be some one that has completed this by now?
I will consider paying for a script like that please and thanks.

Could you provide more specific detail about the feature you are asking about? Are you asking to modify some strategy target values or what specifically do you mean to adjust them before the entry?

To specify targets before an entry you would need to use programming or ATMs. In programming you have some kind of input which a script is using to know where to place the orders when submitted. The ATM template system does that by letting you define targets ahead of time based on values you input. For more dynamic movement you would have to use logic to control that using a script.

No I want to be able to set my entry, tp and sl before the trade goes live. I understand that the brackets activate after entry, but why can't set my levels and limits BEFORE the entry takes place? Because I use EMA's, it will vary and just having say an 8 tick SL may not be sufficient for my trade.

You can use an ATM to set targets before submitting an order, that triggers the targets based on the entry fill at the offsets you supplied. You can also do that by making a strategy that has inputs for adjusting the stops and targets.

I know HOW to do an ATM strategy, I am saying that I want to be able to set an entry and adjust the ATM BEFORE the trade takes place so I can adjust risk.

Just like how it's done on tradingview and tradovate, which ninjatrader owns. So why can't this be done?

That would require custom coding. The adjust before aspect of an ATm would be to open the template and edit it, then submit your entry.
