Creating a method

if I want to create a method, does it matter if it is nested inside/outside OnBarUpdate?

Thank you for your post.

All methods should be declared in the scope of the class. We don't recommend declaring methods within OnBarUpdate().

You can then call your method from within OnBarUpdate.
