I usually have Chart Trader hidden as it takes up too much real estate for my liking. I do, however switch between accounts and hate having to turn chart trader on and off. Is the current account something that is available in an indicator that can be put in a text box on charts?

Yes, this is accessible.

The automationID for the control is ChartTraderControlAccountSelector.

The example linked below demonstrates printing the value for this.

You could put that information in a call to Draw.TextFixed() instead of printing to the output window.

You could also add an AccountSelector drop-down to the UserControlCollection (or custom toolbar) and set the value to the ChartTraderControlAccountSelector .SelectedAccount and change the trading account without having to open chart trader.
