develop a risk manager

Guys,
I want to develop a risk manager, to prevent new orders from being sent if I reach a Loss limit on the day, but I don't know what is the best way, to develop it as an addon, strategy or indicator in ninja trader.
If you have any examples, I would appreciate it.

Hello diatrader,

The only way that I could suggest would be to use a strategy so that your strategies logic just stops trading once that point has been reached. We cannot recommend blocking orders from being sent in general, that would go against the platforms design and hinder your ability to correctly manage the account if needed.

You can find a strategy that uses its trade performance information to stop trading once a certain loss limit is hit in the following sample.
