BarType DropDown

Hello!

Just a quick question, How do I add my own dropdown to my bartype.

Just want to plug in my own enum into my BarType inputs.

Can you please clarify, are you looking to add a enum to your BarsType script?

Or are you looking to add a BarsType drop down to another script, like and indicator or a strategy?

I have already created my bar type. I just want to put in my own enum into the settings. The pick below shows the Volumetric bars having a dropdown for UpDownTick or BidAsk. I want to put in either that exact drop down or know how to insert my own. Thanks!

Unfortunately, custom properties are not supported with custom bar types.

There may be an unsupported way to achieve this, this thread will remain open for any users that may have a suggestion of how to achieve this through unsupported code.

Hey Gaby, another quick question. So I know custom data types are not supported, but can I add more Value inputs? Right now I am using all 3 (Value, Value2, BaseBarsValue) Is there anyway to add more?

Unfortunately, any custom properties, even just simple values, are not supported with custom bar types.
