Different results when backtesting on different computers

If I am backtesting the same strategy with the same parameters and the same data connections on two different computers, why would the backtests differ?

Make sure it's the same type of chart and same start and end time? For example, make sure both are 1 min, 1000 tick, etc and both start at the same time.

If any settings are different that would cause differences. also make sure to reload the historical data to make sure both PC's data is the same. you can read about checking for differences in the following link:
