Connected in DLL interface function

Hello,

I am developing an automated trading system with my own computer program with the DLL interface.
Overall, the DLL interface functions work as described in https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...?functions.htm.
However, "Connected" function seems to return 0 only if an app can communicate with the NinjaTrader desktop,
and it seems not related to an account connection (i.e., connection status shown in "Connections" menu of NinjaTrader desktop).
Is there any way to check the account connection status with the DLL interface?

Hello minkyupark82,

There is not a specific function to check if a configured connection is connected from the dll interface, when using the interface that assumes you have the platform in the state that you need it to be in for the actions being completed in the external application. The dll interface can only let you know that it successfully connected to NinjaTrader.
