strategies appearing on chart after i select chart

my strategies are appearing on the chart if there is an active trade - after i select the instrument and timeframe. is that normal? is there a way to have it where the open strategy doesn't appear. i really don't want to see it there.

Are you referring to the label on the chart?
Are you referring to the Plot executions and profit and loss lines (from the Data Series window)?

These can be disabled in the Data Series window.

Set the 'NinjaScript Strategy Profitable Trade Line' and 'NinjaScript Strategy Unprofitable Trade Line' to Transparent.
Set 'Plot Executions' to 'Do not plot'.
