exit on session close 2pm on backtest?

i'm doing backtesting and i'm seeing results that have exit on session close. and, its at 2pm. i'm california. and, have timezone set to pacific in ninjatrader. so, all my backtesting and strategies are automatically read as pacific time. but, the market closes at 2pm pacific?

Hello SteveReiza,

ExitOnSessionClose in a backtest happens on the last bar of the session regardless of the exit on session close seconds that are set. That is a realtime only property.

The timezones in the platform are controlled by the Control center -> Tools -> options -> General -> timezone setting.

If you have the timezone set to pacific and the last closed bar of the session is marked as 2pm that would be correct.
