Display Name vs Label

Definition

Determines the text display on the chart panel. This is also listed in the UI as the "Label" which can be manually changed (if not overridden). The default behavior of this property will include the NinjaScript type Name along with its input and data series parameters. However this behavior can be overridden if desired.


This section appears to be incorrect. I am not getting that behaviour when I override the name.
The overridden name appears on the chart correctly but takes the "Formal" indicator name in the Label.

Just a heads up for the next upgrade.

Thank you for reporting this.

I'll have the help guide updated to specify this will reflect the name of the indicator shown in the Configured list but not the Label property.

Personally I would like it to change the Label as well.

Yes whilst I am on please add a request to remove all the label indicator stuff at the top left of the chart.
I really don't need to know I have a SMA(50,true, false, WagyuBeef,Cup of tea and sandwich) - however I do have indicators that use the label so I kind of have to but it would be great just to make it visible/not visible whilst keeping the attributes.
