Cancellation rejected by the Order Management System - Order is complete

I am working on an Addon and I am encountering this error "XXXXX, Cancellation rejected by the Order Management System - Order is complete. affected Order: BuyToCover 1 Market" ( the XXX is my account name )


Then due to this I get an Error dialog that pops up.


Is there a way to suppress the Error Dialog from popping up directly from the Addon?

I know that a Strategy allows you to suppress the rejection messages but I'd like to do the same thing directly from my addon.

There is not a way to suppress error dialogs. In this case you would need to change your logic so you no longer get this type of rejection. This message is generated because some action was attempted on an already completed order. The best solution is to contact your broker and find out the specifics of what was attempted with the order in question and then you can modify your logic to avoid that happening going forward. If you otherwise wanted to allow rejections and create logic to handle that you need to use a strategy and not an addon.
