Request User Input

can I pop up a request for user input "on the fly" or is this always done through properties?

If the market falls lower and I recalculate a new long entry price I'm trying to allow the user to override this price if required without resetting the indicator/strategy.

also to reset any current targets manually ... anything really

I am not aware of a way to create a pop-up request for user input. You could consider making a WPF modification and adding a text box somewhere, like added to the chart trader panel, that would use the price in the box as input without resetting the indicator. This type of WPF modification goes outside the boundaries of NinjaTrader support, though the following threads may prove to be useful resources if you choose to attempt to add a text box:
