Bring Back 8.0.26.1

Can we please have 8.0.26.1 back? Version 8.0.28 has this most annoying bug where the charts flash. It's really bad during high volatility. This issue started with v8.0.27 and it's only gotten worse with 8.0.28. When I use Apex with 8.0.26.1 the screen never flashes but with 8.0.28 and NT data feed, it's never ending flashing. There's been several posts about this issue and you guys(NinjaTrader) continue to blame it on 3rd party indicators. If that's the case, then why do 3rd party indicators flash on 8.028 but not 8.026.1. It's clear that you guys changed something in the rendering calculations with 8.0.27 and it carried over to 8.0.28. If so, can you tell us what it was so we can fix our indicators?

NinjaTrader Desktop 8.0.26.1 is an old version of NinjaTrader and we would not have a supported way to roll back to that version of NinjaTrader Desktop.

Third-party addons could be used on NinjaTrader Desktop at your own discretion and it would be up to the developer of the third-party addon to investigate why their addon is causing a specific unexpected behavior. Please reach out to the third-party developer directly about the unexpected behavior so they may look into it.

That said, you could try updating to the current version of NinjaTrader Desktop (8.1.1.7) and test to see if the unexpected behavior persists. Updates to NinjaTrader will contain the latest security updates and bug fixes, as well as occasional new features and instruments.

To update NinjaTrader

• Shutdown all programs including NinjaTrader *important
• Download NinjaTrader from the link below
  • Click here to download NinjaTrader
• Double click the downloaded file to execute it
• Follow the on screen instructions
• Restart NinjaTrader
