Thanks for your post.

I have moved your post to the General Development section of the Forums since you are requesting information about how to programmatically do something.

Unfortunately, the properties of Chart Trader cannot be accessed or set from an addon in code.

We are tracking interest in an existing feature request for the ability to access and set Chart Trader properties programmatically and I have added your vote. This request is being tracked under the number SFT-1955.

As with all feature requests, interest is tracked before implementation is considered, so we cannot offer an ETA or promise of fulfillment. If implemented, it will be noted on the Release Notes page of the Help Guide.
