DLL Performance NtDirect vs NinjaTrader.Client

I have used the NtDirect for a long time, but because support for it is being dropped, we developed a wrapper dll which allows the use of the NinjaTrader.Client.dll from Easylanguage. I was concerned that the new arrangement might be slower, but when I did a test by generating 1000 new order ID's, I found that the wrapper dll with NinjaTrader.Client.dll was three time faster than just using the NtDirect.dll. This was on NinjaTrader v8.0.27.1.

Can anyone comment on this?

In past testing I wasn't seeing any differences but was not specifically testing for large order quantity performance.

There were no orders involved. I was simply generating order numbers.
