.ncd files in Hard Drive, no means of accessing Historical Data

Hello,

I saved off my NinjaTrader 8 > db > tick > [instruments] as part of my system backup.
Yesterday Iost all historical data in my active NinjaTrader, But I have my back up files in my System Backup file.
The Question is how do I get my backup data into my current functioning NinjaTrader?

Hello GTBrooks,

If you have a backup file meaning you used the backup/restore tool in NinjaTrader then you need to use the restore tool to restore the data: https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...p__restore.htm

If you mean that you have a folder with data in it, you need to move that data to the correct location. NinjaTrader keeps its data in the folder Documents/NinjaTrader 8

Historica data files are kept in the folders under the main folder: Documents\NinjaTrader 8\db
