Downloading Historical Tick Data Past one year ago

Hello,

Currently, the furthest I can backtest with tick data is from May 2022 which is exactly one year ago. Any further back and the backtest wont run. How can I obtain Tick data that runs past one year ago?

The availability of historical data will depend on your data provider. The NinjaTrader historical data servers typically only go back 1 year for historical tick data. As for obtaining tick data that is further than 1 year back, you might be able to research the availability from other data providers. We have some information about what data is supported from different providers here, however, the specifics regarding how far back they offer data will need to be researched with the individual provider:

Otherwise, there is an option to import data into NinjaTrader as long as the file is the correct type and has the correct format for the data:

You may be able to find a third-party that offers historical tick data that you may download and then import into NinjaTrader.
