last candle of a trading session for OnRender purposes

    Hello,

Could you please advise me how do I define the last candle of a trading session for OnRender purposes?

You can determine the end of the session using a SessionIterator (in OnBarUpdate) and compare the time of the candle with that (in OnRender).

      Hello emuns,

      Thank you for your post.

I am not sure how you are planning to tie in the last candle of a session with OnRender(). There is an ActualSessionEnd SessionIterator that you could utilize:

Then, as bruce mentioned, you could compare the time from the SessionIterator. There are some ChartControl methods that might be relevant to what you are looking for, such as GetTimeByX() or GetXByTime():Please let us know if we may be of further assistance.
