Strategy Script

Hey all things for all the assistance in the past.
I made a script in NT editor under the strategy side of things. It compiles correctly but i does not show up under strategy in the console or any charts.
It maybe due that's its not really a strategy but more of a script to let me know when the server gets disconnected it will send me a txt messages to let me know.
Any ideas?

To show up in the strategy list it must inherit form NinjaTrader.NinjaScript.Strategy and have a Name property that is set and non-empty.

The setup should be correct I have made nt builders and also cut and paste script setups before and all showed up

Hello Chryslertech,

I would suggest to upload the .cs file that you made so that we have a better idea of what may be happening.

Please also check the control center log tab after opening the strategies menu. If your strategy had an error in its OnStateChange override it won't show up in the menu to be selected.

I imported the item but I did have to comment out the Twilio related code for it to compile. I see this listed in the strategies list as SMS Alert Server Statusy.

Did you press F5 to compile the script in the NinjaScript editor?

Are you seeing errors in the control center log tab after opening the strategies menu?

It did complile I added the nessary reaources files for twilio

Are you seeing errors in the control center log tab?

If an item doesn't show up in the menu its generally because of an error its having. That is important to check the log tab for errors.
