precompilation tags for different NT version

It was stated that you do not have precompilation tags that can be used for compiling.

However, how would you be able to support two different version when the function calls differ between 8.0.27.1 ad 8.1.1.x.

I could use a try catch -- but that seems a bandaid for this.

Are you referring specifically to .IsLifetime? Is there another one that has two cases? If it's just the one property maybe they could just add an alias into the next build so the old code still works.

NinjaScript should function more or less the same between 8.0.27.1 and 8.1. Please elaborate on what you are referring to about what calls would differ between the two versions so I may better assist you.

NinjaTrader.Cbi.License was deprecated and now uses NinjaTrader.Cbi.UserEntitlement. That said, this was not officially documented nor supported with version 8.0.27.1 and is not something we can publicly post on the forum.
