Russell 2000 database components managed by NinjaTrader similar to the SP500 list

Hi,

Is it possible to to get the group of stocks composing Russell 2000 managed by the platform ... in a similar way to how the SP500 stock members are being managed? Such that for example, one could run a strategy on the full set of stock components of the Russell 2000 index.

Hello, thanks for writing in. The only supported way of accessing data is through a supported data provider. All of them are listed here under the connection guides:

It is possible to connect to external databased using C#, but it is not a supported function.

I'm talking about having another entry along Select -> "SP 500" list, where we could have a "Russell 2000" list, under Strategy Analyzer -> Data Series -> Instrument.

Hello, thanks for the follow up. This is a default Instrument List, so you will need to create your own instrument list under Tools>Instrument Lists to create one for the Russel 2000.
