Check if bar is historical or not

Is there a way in a script to check if the bar is historical? For example: when I run a strategy in a live environment, I want to skip any logic that is based on historical bars.

So if there perhaps is something like Bars.IsHistorical == True.. that would be great.

Yes you would check the State property.

If you don't want to do logic on historical bars you can use

if (State == State.Historical)
return;
