Position Commission

Hello,

I would like to know if there is a way to retrieve commission from a position.

I know i can get it from Execution, my source is a position cause i try to find all information related to position in the ninjatrader start (for opened position)

I don't know if i can find the related execution of find the commission from the account.

Have you an idea ?

Hello johnok

You would need to know what created that position to know the actual commission. The executions would be the way to do that. A position is self is just a number and a direction so you cant get much out of that. You could estimate a commission by multiplying the position quantity by a commission amount but the actual Position object has no reference to a commission amount its self
