Trigger or bypass "Confirm Order Placement"

Is there a way to either trigger or bypass the "Confirm Order Placement" when submitting an order? I want to confirm orders being sent for eMinis, but not when sending an order for a Micro. I have development experience, I just can't find anything that looks like an OnPlaceOrder event.

For manual orders, it would not be supported to either allow or suppress the default functionality.

This can be turned off for all manual orders or turned on for all manual orders.

However, you could create a script that adds buttons and allows users to place orders through the script. The script logic can choose to trigger a confirmation message box window and then choose to submit the order.

Well that sounds like overkill, but thanks for the reply. Maybe NT can consider developing the option of associating the "Confirm Order Placement" with a certain list of products, or maybe trigger it if the order would exceed a certain amount.
