Saving indicator values in a custom SQLite database

    Hi!

I want to save some indicator values in a custom SQLite database. How would I do that?

I have NinjaTrader 8, .NET SDK 6.0, and the following runtimes:
    • Microsoft.AspNetCore.App 6.0.10 [C:\Program Files\dotnet\shared\Microsoft.AspNetCore.App]
    • Microsoft.AspNetCore.App 6.0.13 [C:\Program Files\dotnet\shared\Microsoft.AspNetCore.App]
    • Microsoft.NETCore.App 6.0.10 [C:\Program Files\dotnet\shared\Microsoft.NETCore.App]
    • Microsoft.NETCore.App 6.0.13 [C:\Program Files\dotnet\shared\Microsoft.NETCore.App]
    • Microsoft.NETCore.App 7.0.2 [C:\Program Files\dotnet\shared\Microsoft.NETCore.App]
    • Microsoft.WindowsDesktop.App 6.0.10 [C:\Program Files\dotnet\shared\Microsoft.WindowsDesktop.App]
    • Microsoft.WindowsDesktop.App 6.0.13 [C:\Program Files\dotnet\shared\Microsoft.WindowsDesktop.App]
    • Microsoft.WindowsDesktop.App 7.0.2 [C:\Program Files\dotnet\shared\Microsoft.WindowsDesktop.App]
I understand that I should also have also System.Data.SQLite. Which version should I install?

What other .NET frameworks should I have?

Finally, how should I proceed once I have all the required frameworks?

    Hello Gianpiero,

    Thanks for your post.

This would go beyond the support we would be able to provide in the NinjaTrader support department since it is not related to NinjaScript-specific code.

That said, NinjaTrader uses .NET version 4.8 and this could be seen in the Release Notes section of the help guide linked below. Using versions newer than .NET 4.8 are not supported and should be used at your own discretion.

    Release Notes: https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...8/8_0_23_2.htm

For information about working with SQLite using .NET 4.8, you could do a quick Google search for something like 'Working with SQLite on .NET 4.8'.

This forum will also be open for other community members to share their insights on the topic.

Please let me know if I may assist further.
