    How to use my own dll when i develop my own indicator?

    I try to develope a indicator, and this indicator needs to call my own dll. so how to use it? just add reference as same as what a normal c# project does?

    Hello UMLer,

    Yes if you made a C# dll then you can add it as a reference using the NinjaScript editors right click -> references menu. The dll needs to be placed in the folder: Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom

    You would need to place the dll in that folder along with any other dlls or resources that your dll requires. Once you have done that and referenced it you can use it in the NinjaScript editor.

    If you plan to use this dll in a future export there are some considerations to make. One is to never use using statements and always use yourr namespace when accessing types from your dll.

    MyNamespace.MyTypeFromMyDll myVariableName = new MyNamespace.MyTypeFromMyDll();
    If you export the indicator that uses the dll you need to select references from the drop down list during the export and select your DLL. After exporting you need to open the zip in windows explorer and drag your dll into the zip. https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...esOrNativeDlls
