Account name string not behaving

I have the following
accountString = currentAccount.DisplayName.ToString().Remove(0,3);

the displayname has more thant 7 characters but it simply returns the whole displayname without removing the characters i want?
Any ideas?
Is it a bug or a property of Accounts that I don't know about?

Hello Mindset,

It appears you are trying to remove the first 3 characters from the string.

Should you need assistance provide the output from printing the string before the remove, and the output from printing after the remove.
