Bars Including Bid and Ask
Is there a way to display the bars / candlesticks encompassing both the bid and ask extremes at the same time. As I understand it, the highs and lows reflect the bid prices and not the ask prices and the close is chosen (I use "last"). But it bugs me to see in real time that I enter into a buy order when the bar hasn't reached that value and that I understand is because the bar reflects the bid prices and not the ask prices. I understand in real time I can draw a line representing the active ask but it doesn't help me with the historical data which I use to make my predictions. Ideally I would have historical data representing the full range of the bid and ask prices. Is there a way to display them that way? ThanksTags: None

Hello dweems,
Thank you for your post.
I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for but you could consider overlaying charts of bid, ask, and last values for the same instrument on top of each other. To do so, add three data series of the same instrument and interval to a chart. Once the chart is opened, click on each of the additional 2 data series, and drag them onto the series in the top most panel.
Please let us know if we may be of further assistance to you.Kate W.NinjaTrader Customer Service
