How do you sell/license an indicator or a strategy?

Are strategies/addons/indicators able to be sold? Do those have to be approved through NinjaTrader ecosystem?
How are machine licenses used for licensing?

Selling the item is really up to how you wanted to do that but you can also speak with the sales team about the NinjaTrader ecosystem and vendor program. The machine ID licensing specifically is part of the vendor licensing system so if you don't use that you would have to make your own means of licensing using C#. You can choose to not use the machine licensing and would still be able to sell the item on your own if you wanted to in an external place.
