    stochastic crosses

    Hello
How can I identify stochastic crosses in Market Analyzer

    #2
HI lycee, thanks for posting. The Market Analyzer can load indicators as columns and you can also create Market Analyzer Column scripts where you can render colors and set the column cell to display "true" or "false". If you make an indicator to do this, you can have a Plot that sets to 1 if there is a cross, or 0 if there is no cross on the bar.

    Kind regards,

This is what I have found:

      Stochastic oscillator indicator calculation

The formula for the stochastic oscillator is:

      %K = 100(C – L14) / (H14 – L14)

      in which:

C = the instrument’s most recent closing price

L14 = the instrument’s lowest price traded of the 14-day period

H14 = the instrument’s highest price traded during the same 14-day period

%K = The present value of the stochastic indicator
