How to programatically set defaults for specific instrument?

is that possible that for any instrument (when that instrument is added to DataSeries BarsDialog), i had some pre-defined defaults for it's properties?
(i.e. `Type: Renko`, `Chart Style: Box` or etc...)

Hello ttodua,

There is not a way to set defaults for the primary data series from code, you would need to either manually configure that or set a default template from the user interface however that is not instrument specific.

Thanks Jesse for reply. Seems it needed a very hardcoded approach to access the UI elements and then amend the input values programatically.
