I only just encountered this property while reading the code for the std. dev. indicator. Maybe there's a simpler example of it somewhere?

What is "input[]"?
I've read the document language reference but it isn't clear to me what data it holds. What does "primary historical data" mean? If it's "price" of a bar, how is it determined since a bar price will range from it's Low[] to High[]? Is it the same as bar Close[]?

Hello Chippy,
Input refers to the Input series supplied to the script.
This will default to the Close prices if no Input series is supplied.
For example if you were to supply the ADL indicator as the Input series to the SMA indicator, in the SMA Input[0] would refer to the last bar of the ADL input series.Chelsea B.NinjaTrader Customer Service
