wait 10 seconds before submitting a market order

Hello. I have a problem. When i buy or sell with market order it is accepted but approving after 10 seconds and on the graph it shows 10 secs later. Do not use any strategy, just basic settings. About a week it worked perfectly and was shown immediately in the chart but now it needs wait for 10 secs. Can you tell me why is such problem?

This could be a result of the PC clock being out of sync and incorrectly marking data. Please sync the PC clock and then reconnect/reload the historical data to confirm if that helps.


Please use the steps below to change/check your Time Zone and sync the PC clock:

• Shutdown NinjaTrader
• Right-click the clock in the lower right corner of your desktop
• Select Adjust date/time
• For Windows 10 click 'Date, Time, and regional formatting' -> Then click 'Additional date, time, and regional settings' -> then click 'Set the time and date'
• Select the 'Internet Time' tab at the top
• Set the server to time.nist.gov and then click Update.
• If the message that appears says successful your PC clock should now be updated.
• If not, select a different server from the Server: drop-down and try again (repeat until one of the servers is successful)

After updating the PC clock, please restart NinjaTrader, then right-click the chart and select Reload All Historical Data.


I am not certain I understand what you are saying about the basic entry window, are you saying that you wanted to use hotkeys in a different window and only the basic entry is working for hotkeys?

about delays - smth was changed and worked for now after my message. but i did eth you typed and hope this situation will not be again,
as for a hotkes - it is on in hotkeys and in Trading - use order entry hot keys. But hotkeys is not working when i have only chart window. To "activate" hotkeys i need to open Basic Entry window and this window should be active! Otherway hotkeys is not working. If you need, I can rec a video.

Have you tried the hot keys in a new empty chart with no template applied? Its possible for NinjaScript items to intercept and handle key events, its possible that something applied to the chart is preventing the hotkeys.

I also don't see the chart trader open, have you tried opening the chart trader and then using the hot keys?
