    Session Bar Type

    Hello,

I want to create custom bars (candlestick style) based on session time (Trading Hours).
So, if an instrument has 3 sessions for day, I want to see only three bars on the chart every day.
    Is it possible?
Do you have same examples or tips about it?

    Thanks.
    Regards,

    Hello Giorgetto,

This would be very advanced and there can be limitations using advanced C# concepts, in NinjaScript, so your mileage may vary. As of now, we do not have any examples that can be used to navigate that path.

I can provide an example of a custom bar type, but not the custom logic you are looking for.
Each bar contains data within a US quarter. Jan‐Mar, Apr‐Jun, Jul‐Sep, Oct‐Dec. This differs from using 3 * Monthly bars. I have tested the values quite thoroughly so it should be accurate. Let me know otherwise. You can add this bars type to the menu by clicking Configure.
