Corrupted Tick Data IQFeed Downloads

Thanks Shawn. Do you have any advice for how to record the start and end time (system time) for individual instruments when running Strategy Analyzer against a list of instruments please?

I can write to streamwriter, and I'd like to output the start and end time so I can try to pin down which instruments have data issues, but I'm not sure how to record the system time or trigger the ending.

Hello ChainsawDR,

You could write to a file the DateTime.Now when CurrentBar is 0 and when CurrentBar is equal to Bars.Count - 1.

But what are you trying to achieve? Are you wanting to benchmark how long a backtest takes on your personal hardware?

Oh sorry I'm not sure how a new post was created but I had meant to reply to this post: https://ninjatrader.com/support/foru...feed-downloads - TL;DR version, I'm experiencing repeated issues of large downloads of historical tick data having instruments with corrupt data (e.g. 25MM ticks when should be 250k on a given day for example), so I'm exploring different methods for being able to pinpoint which instruments have data issues.
