Setting trading time to trade

So I been putting couple of post up but still no solution.
when I set trading time from 930am to 330pm or 7pm to 1130pm it work fine. Only when I set my time that goes over midnight then nothing work.

So if I set my trading time in strategies builder from 7pm to 7am, it won't trade. Any idea why ?

Yeah, your logic is wrong.
I mean, what else could it be, right?

Thanks for your post.

When you are making time comparisons the limitation is midnight. To perform the time check, the time you selected is converted to a value, for example, 7 pm is converted to 190000, 7 AM is converted to 70000. Midnight for reference is 000000.

To have a condition run from 7PM to 7AM you would need to create two sets of conditions.

From 7 PM to 11:59 PM and from 12 AM to 7 AM. This does mean that for the 1-minute duration of 11:59 pm to 12:00 am you would have no actions.

I've attached a strategy builder example of this and below you can see a screenshot that shows the strategy coloring the background from 7PM to 7AM when the conditions are true.
