How to tell if the line is up or down

Yeap it's me again.
how do you code that tell if a line is going up or down? For example if I want to tell if CCI line is going up or down. I prefer the in strategies builder.

You could compare the value of the current bar with the value of the previous bar. If it's greater, it's going up. If it's less, it's going down:

if (CCI(20)[0] < CCI(20)[1]) {
      //going down
}
else if (CCI(20)[0] > CCI(20)[1]) {
      //going up
}

Hello SuperDude123,

In the Strategy Builder -> Condition Builder, you can select Misc -> Rising on the left, and set the Input series to the CCI indicator, Equals in the center, and Misc -> True on the right.
