This Strategy show 89k profit so far this year

Hey fellows trader, I made this strategy for auto trading from 9:30am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday. Buying just 1 NQ at the time. Here I attached a picture. By look at these number, do you think its good or im not seeing down side to this.

Congratulations!

Now you need to setup Commissions so Strategy Analyzer can subtract those expenses
from the profit. With almost 3,500 trades, a non-trivial chunk of your profits in that Summary
are going to pay for Commissions.

Also, you failed to let your screenshot show us what kind of chart you are backtesting on.
If it's Renko or Range, your real-world trading results will probably be wildly different.

Finally, until you have several weeks (minimum of 2 weeks, 3 is better, 4 is best) of real
time profitable results with live data on Sim101, you should probably refrain from using a
real money account.

Even with a solid algorithm that finds good trade setups, your risk management will be
the primary key to your success.

Hey thanks for your comments. I ll definitely have this run in real time sim a bit more. I am not sure what is renko and rang are. And yes profit minus commission.

Hello SuperDude123,

I also recommend running the script in Playback with Market Replay data for a few days to ensure the results are similar.

Further, if the strategy is not using Calculate.OnBarClose, it may be more accurate to use 1 tick intra-bar granularity for order fills and TickReplay for triggering OnBarUpdate intra-bar.

Thank you for info. I ll check it out. Real time looking good. Just want to make sure backtest is at the same path.
