That is totally frustrating. Is there any way to programatically force disable cache and force NT to load fresh code everytime? I am 100% sure there will be a way to that, but need a support-tech's answer who has deep knowledge of NT internal codings.

Annoying issue - connection adapter is cached even though NT recompile.
We are in the process of building a custom connection adapter. However, the problem we face is that, even though we make some changes in adapter (testing and trials of hundreds of times) and re-compile in NinjaScript editor, disconnecting and re-connecting that connection : https://i.imgur.com/P7uJsMk.png does not reload the new code, but instead, we have to go to "Configure" , then add there new instance of that connection, and connect it, in order to get new(updated) code to be loaded.
That is totally frustrating. Is there any way to programatically force disable cache and force NT to load fresh code everytime? I am 100% sure there will be a way to that, but need a support-tech's answer who has deep knowledge of NT internal codings.Tags: None

Hello ttodua,
Thanks for your question.
Development of custom Connection Adapters is only reserved for qualified vendors in our EcoSystem. Support for developing these adapters is given by our Quality Assurance team, which is not a direct customer facing role, and this level of support would not be provided on the forums.
If you are a qualified vendor in the OpenConnect program and are looking for assistance with developing a custom Connection Adapter, please send a message to scriptingsupport [at] ninjatrader [dot] com with the text "Attn QA OpenConnect Inquiry" Please also include a link to this thread and your vendor name so we can confirm you are in the OpenConnect program.
We look forward to assisting.JimNinjaTrader Customer Service

NinjaTrader_Jim May I advise something to NT team? technical support through mails are previous-century way. Can't you open a hidden sub-forum, where we could post these and get follow-ups there? Or any way for 1-to-1 messaging, other than mails? or instead of mailing, you could redirect this topic to the appropriate team, and they answered in PM?

Hello ttodua,
Thanks for your feedback. As there are few Connection Adapter inquires and developers in the OpenConnect program, there would be little demand to create a hidden sub forum. Since the team that provides technical support for Connection Adapters is not in a customer facing role, their activity on the forum would not be the same as our Scripting Support or regular Technical Support teams.
If this changes in the futures, it will certainly be an idea to consider.
