Edit ATM Files Manually

Hello,
I have a little script that edits the ATM files manually while NT8 is running.
In the morning it sets ATM files to 10 TP and 10 STP and in the afternoon is sets 20-20.
for some reason NT8 doesn't detect the file changes and submits orders in the afternoon with the 10-10.
Is it possible to force NT8 to detect new modified atm files or is there a way to program an indicator to edit atm files automatically?

Thank you for your post.

It would not be supported to edit an ATM template file via code and have the changes picked up by NinjaTrader while it is running. You would have to restart NinjaTrader after the edit for the changes to be picked up.

yeah I know its not supported by NT as I've spent the last 3 days searching on this forums and on google.
but when I click on chart trader button "sell mkt" the selected atm uses the correct TP and STP so I'm guessing there is a way.
I just need to be pointed in the right direction and i'll just take care of the rest..
