FilePathPicker

Hi,

Is there any way to get the PropertyEditor's FilePathPicker to open to a given directory?

[Display(Name="Template Name", Order=3, GroupName="Options")]
[PropertyEditor("NinjaTrader.Gui.Tools.FilePathPick er", Filter="Xml Files (*.xml)|*.xml")]
public string TemplateName
{ get; set; }

My current need is to open the folder that contains the Fibonacci Retracement templates (i.e., C:\Users\Trader\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\templates\DrawingTool\FibonacciRetracements).
Is there any way to point to this folder in case the path to the Fibonacci Retracement templates is different on other PCs? I don't want to hardcode a path.

Thanks for the post.

The file path picker has no easy way to pick directories so that would not be an easy option here.

The path for the template folder won't change though, the user folder is always structured the same. You could use the following string to get the users path no matter where they installed to:

string templateDir = System.IO.Path.Combine(NinjaTrader.Core.Globals.UserDataDir, "templates", "DrawingTool", "FibonacciRetracements");
