So far it has not recognized my attempt to do so with my indicator.

Yes that is possible. You would need to use the addon framework Account class and its methods. You can find an example of locating an account and also subscribing to order events in the following link:
After using the above sample you could use the account variable and its Submit method: https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...nt8/submit.htm
