Basic math operations

Hi is it possible to conduct the basic math operations( + - / ") using the strategy builder.or indicator development procedure without programming knowledge.

Thanks for your post.

The math is performed using an "Offset" from a particular value such as adding x ticks to the price High. Here is a link to the help guide section of the strategy builder that covers how tot use offsets: https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...setAnItemValue

Math functions in the strategy builder are possible but there are certain cases where they are not and we may be able to suggest a workaround within the Strategy Builder. In general, if you work with a custom series you can do most anything but as a series, there are additional steps needed depending on what needs to be done.

PaulH many thanks for your response, I should have made myself clearer at the outset. I wish to add together a series of the schaff cycle trend with a variety of different parameters whilst maintaining the same timeframe on the chart. For example a series say EMA 2, EMA 4 + EMA 4, EMA 8......
Is this possible?

I don't know anything about the Schaff indicator so I could not comment.

You can certainly add two EMAs together but you would not be able to display them added on the chart if that is the question.
